|Instructor Name:Rizwan Loya|
Riz has studied martial arts for 20 years and holds a black belt in Kinetekan and a brown belt in Kenpo Karate.
Riz works as an emergency medicine physician and has three boys (Aiden, Aren, and Alec) who also train at Salick’s. His favorite activity at Salick’s is sparring and real life self defense techniques (especially weapon defense). Riz helps teach the KAT (Kids Advance Training) class when his schedule allows him to.
What Riz likes best about Salick’s:
“After moving to Wisconsin from Chicago I was looking for a martial arts school for my boys and myself. The second I walked through the door I knew this was the place. The Kinetekan philosophy emphasizes functional technique. What may work for a certain person at a certain time may not apply to someone else in a different situation. Flexibility of technique and thought are what sets Salick’s apart from any other school that I know of. Plus we have a blast training with each other.”
